and divorced parents and their children now have the opportunity to
discover new friends whilst visiting Antigua’s largest all-inclusive
Jolly Beach Resort.

package designed for single parents travelling on holiday with their
children. From May the company offers seven nights at Jolly Beach from
£1080 per adult and £974 per child The price is based on one adult and
two children sharing an air conditioned family room and includes all
inclusive accommodation and return British Airways flights and
transfers.
Savvy single parent travellers are able to take advantage of the
resorts impressive children’s facilities which include the Jolly Beach
Kidz Club, open Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm for children 3-12 years old.
The club offers different activities including walks through the
resort’s lush gardens where the children can learn all about Antigua’s
indigenous plants, shell hunting on the resort’s beautiful one mile
white sand beach, dance lessons and many different types of games and
races. For quieter moments, the Kidz Club’s Clubhouse provides board
games, movies, arts and crafts, and Caribbean story time.
The Jolly Kidz Club also offers to train children in the delicate art
of dining! Once a week the children are escorted to the a’la carte
restaurant (named Bocciolo) and taught how to hold a knife and fork
correctly, place their napkins on their knees, order from the menu and
even order a glass of pretend wine. They are then taken back to their
parent to demonstrate their new found skills.
Older children (and adults) can enjoy the four floodlit tennis courts
available for both day and night play. Here friends can enjoy a casual
game or if they fancy being more competitive, can take part in the
weekly singles and doubles tournaments.
Parents and children wishing to make the most of their well earnt time
off can laze around the resort’s 8,000 sq ft swimming pool or put on
the skin protection and soak up the sun on the glorious white sand
beach itself. Breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks and dinner are all included
in the price so growing appetites are well catered for and for those
unable to miss a daily intake of television, all of Jolly Beach’s rooms
are equipped with satellite TVs! Live music and dancing is available in
the evening.
