New stores on Regent Street, London

Visitors travelling to London from the US will soon feel even more at home as some of America's favourite major brands open stores on and around London's famous Regent Street.

The elegant curved buildings, designed by John Nash in 1811, are among London's most distinctive architecture, and have housed some of the top British brands for many years; among them Burberry, Aquascutum and Austin Reed.

Now the Americans are joining in, with Brooks Brothers, the first ready-to-wear fashion store; Abercrombie and Fitch opening in Savile Row, and Timberland, which is exclusively selling its ‘RS’ branded boots in its latest outlet.

Other stores new to the area include Penhaligons traditional perfumery and Bose audio equipment.
