Breakfast in London

BreakfastBreakfast in London just got better, thanks to Fuzzy's Grub.

With power breakfasts becoming increasingly popular, there's been a need to bridge the gap between the fine dining hotel breakfasts and the get-what-you-pay-for fry ups at the local café.

There's also a need for a reasonably priced alternative to over-priced hotel breakfasts for those staying in London on a room-only basis.

Fuzzy's Grub, award-winning purveyors of traditional British fare will open at Crown Passage in St James's on 19th February 2007.  In keeping with their concept of serving traditional British home cooking at its best, using only the finest ingredients, breakfast features premium smoked back-bacon, free range eggs and succulent handmade gourmet sausages from Musks of Suffolk; sausage makers to the Royal Family.

A unique premium British café concept founded by friends Fuzzy (Fazila Collins) and Grub (Georgina Laing), providing the best of British home cooking for the Capital’s busy workers. The four City sites are take away only, and Crown Passage is to be the first Fuzzy’s Grub with seats.

Named ‘Best for Traditional British’ (food) by Harden’s 2007 Guide, above some of London’s top restaurants, Fuzzy’s Grub has been the premier purveyor of home roast meats and traditional British fare for the past four years. Their infamous ‘Sunday Lunch in a sandwich’ has become legendary amongst City workers who flock to the shops on Cornhill, Mason’s Avenue, Bow Lane, Fleet Street and in St. James’s.

The menu includes proper doorstep toast, muffins and crumpets with English butter and a selection of traditional spreads and preserves; Eggs Benedict (made with Fuzzy’s Grub home-roast ham) and Eggs Florentine (both from £3.50) and Porridge made with traditional Scottish oats and served with hot milk, honey and raisins (£2). Traditional English breakfasts include:

St James’s Full English Breakfast (£6.75)
Sausage, bacon, black pudding, eggs (any way), vine tomatoes, Portobello mushrooms, baked beans, hash browns, toast, tea or coffee.

Pall Mall Light English Breakfast (£5.50)

King Street Vegetarian Breakfast (£4.50)
