A weekend in Baden-Baden

Baden BadenThe jewel of Germany's Black Forest region, Baden-Baden has attracted visitors since curative waters were discovered during Roman times.  Today, an equally popular draw is the Kurhaus casino, at which many a family fortune has been lost.

Best time to go

In late spring and summer to appreciate the parks and gardens, from May to October to enjoy the horse racing, or during the winter to really escape from it all and enjoy the spa treatments or the casino.

Getting there
