 Guestrooms
at the Quinta das Vistas Palace Gardens are elegantly decorated, with
limed oak features and deep-pile Wilton carpets. Offering a total
of 71 rooms, 63 are twin rooms, three are junior suites, with four
larger (50sq m) suites and one, grand Presidential suite, (80sq m) on the
top floor. Two of the twin rooms are adapted for wheelchair users.
All rooms benefit from a private balcony, offering views of Funchal,
the hotel gardens, surrounding mountains or the Atlantic Ocean.
Each is individually air-conditioned, and comprises a mini bar, cable
TV, direct-dial telephones, internet access and hairdryer, while
bathrooms, which are Portuguese marble and oak, have bath and shower,
with bathrobes and slippers supplied. Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available.
 Dining
at the Vistas Palace Garden is in the Restaurant la Belle Terrasse,
offering a gourmet selection from either a covered or open terrace
area. Open for both lunch and dinner, the restaurant has been
sympathetically decorated to preserve the original elegant architecture
of Madeira's romantic past.
Enjoy an evening cocktail in style at
the Albatroz Piano Bar, which serves the winter garden, lobby, veranda
and terrace areas. Outside, the Pool Bar serves creative and
original snacks and beverages, and is open for light lunches which can
be enjoyed while admiring the panoramic views across Funchal and the
bay area.
Alternatively,
indulge in "Royal Tea" or coffee with fresh scones and a variety of
pastries on the veranda, terrace or in the lobby area.
