Located in the heart of historic Prague, just 15km from Prague's Ruzine International Airport, the luxury five-star Hotel Hoffmeister lies on the western bank of the Vltava River, in the UNESCO protected Mala Strana - Lesser Town area, and within reach of many of Prague's major landmarks. 

The hotel is overlooked by Prague castle, the origins of which date back to the 9th century.  A complete mixture of architectural styles, the castle was given a make-over during the Romanesque  12th century, and a further classical look was added during the 18th.  Only 200m (uphill) from the hotel, the castle is well worth visiting.

The Hotel Hoffmeister was inspired by writer and artist Adolf Hoffmeister, and was created by his son, Martin.  Still family run, the Hotel Hoffmeister contains a gallery of the artist's paintings, and features a collection of caricatures of some of the world's most eminent artists, including Picasso, Dali and Warhol.

Fully remodelled in 2004, the hotel is spread over three floors, accessible by two lifts (elevators). Comprising just 38 rooms and suites, five of which are adapted for use by disabled guests, the Hotel Hoffmeister affords guests an intimate setting, with every personal comfort and luxury.

Executive rooms are individually furnished and decorated, have either a queen or twin beds, and spacious bathrooms with either bath or shower and bidet.  Average room size is 25-28m².

Suites benefit from the addition of a large sofa and armchairs, and have exceptionally luxurious bathrooms with a deep soaker jetted whirlpool tub, separate walk-in shower, two sinks and a bidet.  Rooms are furnished with custom-made cherry wood furnishings, luxurious fabrics and superbly comfortable beds.  Average room size is 45-55m².  For that extra-special occasion, larger 55-60m² "honeymoon suites" are available, or alternatively 70-110m² superior suites, with separate dining area, offering views of the Charles Bridge. 

Room facilities include obligatory Adolf Hoffmeister artwork, climate control system, deluxe mattresses with down duvets and custom-made luxury linens, hairdryer, slippers and bathrobes, mini-bar (included in selected suites), satellite TV and in-house movie system, work area with comfortable chair, and quality complimentary toiletries.
