Page 1 of 3 Baan Taling Ngam Hotel and Spa
The
island of Koh Samui has come a long way since it first piqued the
interest of the hardy backpacker back in the eighties. Since
then, a lot has changed, with development expanding apace, and not always with the
best interests of the environment at heart.
Fortunately, the west
coast of the island remains a tranquil haven, and here you will find
the 42 islands of the Ang Thong Marine National Park, and the Baan Taling Ngam Hotel and Spa; formerly the Le Royal
Meridien Baan Taling Ngam hotel.
Set amidst a coconut plantation
and overlooking turquoise seas, the hotel combines a rich yet traditional
Thai style with the ultimate place to relax, unwind and enjoy
a luxury escape.
Rooms and facilities
Accommodation is all in a range of
traditional Thai villas, and ranges from deluxe rooms to sumptuous
three-bedroom /two storey cliff villas.
At a spacious 65 square metres, deluxe rooms feature a large private
balcony, luxury bathrooms with oversized bath and separate shower,
polished wood flooring and views over the plantation. Ocean-view rooms
have all the facilities of the deluxe rooms, with the added benefit of
expansive ocean views. Deluxe Sala rooms (as pictured) have high ceilings and ocean views.
Even
more spacious, the deluxe suites are 120 square metres of luxury,
offering one bedroom and a large, private balcony with sun loungers and
seating areas. Bathrooms have views of the ocean, oversize baths
and separate showers. A separate dining and seating area, with
kitchenette completes this accommmodation.
