The resort is part of Laguna Phuket, which comprises five top hotels, set in a 400-hectare landscaped setting, featuring lagoons and white sandy beaches, and is an hour's flight from Bangkok and 20 minutes from Phuket airport.

Rooms and facilities

Built in traditional low-rise Thai style, the resort provides 226 guest rooms and suites, all with private balconies.  Decor makes use of native woods and tiles, antique carvings and Thai fabrics.  A variety of room sizes are available, with twin, double or king beds, and rooms overlook either the lagoon, sea or gardens.  All have colour TV, private safes and mini-bar, and all are fully air-conditioned.

There are a total of 144 Deluxe rooms, with a floor area of 32 square metres.  Forty eight overlook the lagoon, and 96 have ocean views.   Of a similar size, but with more facilities for business guests are the Dusit Club rooms, which have an oversized desk, large safe and high speed internet connection.  A further 69 Deluxe rooms front the ocean, and have private balconies overlooking Bang Tao Bay.

For more luxury, the twelve elegant one-bedroom Landmark Suites provide 64 square metres of space, and have a separate work area and dining table.  Bathrooms are also larger, and have their own telephone.

Absolute luxury comes in the form of the Princess Suite.  Featuring cool marble flooring, Sino-Portuguese furnishings and offering the ultimate in comfort, space and elegance, the 96 square metre suite has its own living room, kitchenette, solid wood dining table, and two balconies with lounge chairs.  The en-suite has a separate bath and shower, and walk-in dressing closet.
