We go deeper, looking for quality service, that's given with professionalism and enthusiasm as standard.  We look for little extra touches without pretension.  We look for hotels serving top quality food, where you don't leave the table with an empty wallet but still hungry.  We look for value for money.  Luxury travel is expensive, but can that expense be justified?  We find the places which are worth every penny.

We include contact details and a link to each hotel's own website or membership organisation's website, enabling you to book direct.  We also include links to our booking partners, who often offer better deals than the hotels themselves.  We do receive a small commission from our partners for any bookings made, which helps keep the site free and independent.

We don't charge hotels a membership fee, and we don't charge our readers a subscription to read our reviews.  No hotel pays a fee to be featured.  Each hotel we review is chosen for the quality of its service, its excellent food and because it's the type of hotel guests want to return to.
